Oklahoma High School Basketball - Whitesboro ripped by Poteau
January 17, 2024: Poteau, OK 74953 The Poteau Pirates basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Whitesboro Bulldogs to 24 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spiro for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Poteau will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.
The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Leflore (Leflore, OK). The Savages enter the Rock Island contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Leflore was routed by Red Oak (Red Oak, OK), 60-28, in a league contest.
