South Carolina High School Basketball - Thornwell ripped by Whitmire
January 17, 2024: Clinton, SC 29325 The Whitmire Wolverines basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Thornwell Saints to 20 in the Wolverines league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCormick for a A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 26.
The Saints (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hornets enter the A Region 2 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Ware Shoals was routed by Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC), 92-23, in a non-league contest.
