Virginia High School Basketball - Episcopal fells St. Stephen's & St. Agnes
January 17, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22304 Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA), 51-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Episcopal upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Maroon travel to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to clash with the Wolves in a VISAA Division I bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic won 60-39 in their recent league bout against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA)
Next up, the Saints clash with the Madeira Snails (McLean, VA) in a VISAA Division I bout, on Thursday, January 18. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Snails go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 51-38 league loss to National Cathedral (Washington, DC).
