Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Keystone tops Union

January 17, 2024: Rimersburg, PA 16248

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Keystone Panthers (Knox, PA) and the host Union Knights/Damsels (Rimersburg, PA), saw Keystone's basketball squad knock off Union by a count of 56-46.

With the victory, Keystone upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Clarion Area (Clarion, PA) to play the Bobcats in a Keystone Shortway challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Clarion Area won 52-47 in their recent league challenge against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA)

Next up, the Knights/Damsels play the Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) in a Keystone Shortway challenge, on Friday, January 19. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Gremlins come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).
