The Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Churchill County Greenwave to 39 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vaqueros now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowry for a contest on Friday, January 19.

The Greenwave (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
