California High School Basketball - Half Moon Bay knocked off by Carlmont
January 17, 2024: Belmont, CA 94002 The Carlmont Scots basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars to 38 in the Scots league triumph on Wednesday.
The Scots now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menlo-Atherton for a contest on Friday, January 19. Carlmont will battle a Bears team coming off a 49-32 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Bears record now stands at 13-1.
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Daly City, CA). The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was defeated by Burlingame (Burlingame, CA), 45-35, in a league contest.
