North Carolina High School Basketball - Hillside holds off Northern Durham
January 17, 2024: Durham, NC 27704 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) and the host Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), saw Hillside's basketball squad hold off Northern Durham by a tally of 58-52.
With the victory, Hillside improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a challenge on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. East Chapel Hill won 42-38 in their recent league challenge against Jordan (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Knights confront the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Northern Durham will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 50-45 league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC).
