The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs smashed the visiting Archbishop Riordan Crusaders soccer squad by a margin of 6-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Monarchs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Christian for a West Catholic game on Saturday, January 20. Archbishop Mitty will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-4 league Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.
The Crusaders (2-8) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats go into the West Catholic game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius College Preparatory was overwhelmed by Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
