Texas High School Basketball - Crockett knocks off Anderson-Shiro
January 17, 2025: Crockett, TX 75835 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crockett Bulldogs (Crockett, TX) and the visiting Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX), observed Crockett's basketball team overcome Anderson-Shiro by a margin of 75-62.
The Bulldogs (20-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX). The Trojans come into the 3A Region III District 23 challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Coldspring-Oakhurst defeated Trinity (Trinity, TX), 54-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Owls battle the Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Anderson-Shiro will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 22-5 record after their 79-49 league win over New Waverly (New Waverly, TX).
