With the victory, Ash Grove advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Pirates host Lockwood (Lockwood, MO) to face the Tigers in a Southwest match on Monday, January 27. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-2. Lockwood won 61-46 in their recent non-league match against Dadeville (Dadeville, MO)
The Bears now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purdy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Sarcoxie will face a Eagles squad coming off a 64-53 non-league loss to New Heights Christian Academy (Joplin, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
