The New Manna Christian Wind were victorious over the host Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 62-53 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Wind clash with the Victory Christian Academy Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 1 outing, on Thursday, January 23. New Manna Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 2-5 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC).

The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Millers Creek Christian (Millers Creek, NC). The Lions enter the CSAA outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Millers Creek Christian was defeated by Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC), 59-39, in a league outing.
