The Broaddus Bulldogs basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Kennard Tigers to 66 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 20-7 record. They play next when they host Wells for a 1A Region IV District 27 game on Thursday, January 23. Broaddus will confront a Pirates team coming off a 1-0 league win over Laneville (Laneville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 20-6.

With the loss, Kennard falls to 19-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Zavalla (Zavalla, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-16. Zavalla lost 52-42 in their recent league game against Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX)
