Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 84-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Martins Mill upgrades its record to 24-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX) to face the Flyers in a 2A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 16-9.

The Wildcats now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fruitvale for a 2A Region III District 19 match on Tuesday, January 21. Cayuga will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 87-51 league loss to Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-8.
