January 17, 2025: Granite Falls, MN 56241 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN) and the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), observed Central Minnesota Christian's basketball team overwhelm Yellow Medicine East by a score of 95-47.
The Bluejays (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN). The Eagles come into the A Section 3 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Minnesota Christian trounced Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 76-62, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Sting encounter the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Yellow Medicine East will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
