The Central Valley Academy Thunder basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Herkimer Magicians to 52 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Oneida for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer game on Friday, January 24.

With the loss, Herkimer falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Magicians host Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY) to confront the Marauders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Marauders go into the game with a record of 5-6.
