The Clover Blue Eagles defeated the host Nation Ford Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 59-43 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Blue Eagles clash with the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Clover will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Copperheads come into the outing with a 9-10 record after their 56-50 league win over Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC).

The Falcons (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Sugar Creek Charter was defeated by Carolina International (Concord, NC), 73-62, in a league outing.
