The Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ), 89-19 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Sunnyslope will play a Spartans team coming off a 59-48 league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Corona del Sol falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Higley won 71-36 in their recent league game against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)
