January 17, 2025: Dracut, MA 01826 Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), 66-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Haverhill upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Hillies host Lawrence (Lawrence, MA) to face the Lancers in a Merrimack Valley - Large match on Tuesday, January 21. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 3-9. Lawrence lost 78-67 in their recent non-league match against Franklin (Franklin, MA)
The Middies now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. Dracut will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-39 league loss to Burlington (Burlington, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
