Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lawrence knocks off Dracut
January 7, 2025: Lawrence, MA 01841 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA) and the visiting Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), observed Lawrence's basketball team overcome Dracut by a margin of 67-53.
The Lancers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Andover (Andover, MA). The Golden Warriors come into the Merrimack Valley - Large challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Andover defeated Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA), 61-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Middies battle the North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Dracut will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 58-51 league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA).
