Massachusetts High School Basketball - New Bedford nips Durfee
January 17, 2025: New Bedford, MA 02740 In Friday's league contest, the host New Bedford Whalers basketball team scored a close 58-54 triumph over the Durfee Hilltoppers.
The Whalers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Mission (Boston, MA). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, New Mission was tipped by Fenway (Boston, MA), 58-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Durfee will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Wamps go into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA).
