Virginia High School Basketball - Fredericksburg Academy triumphant over The New Community School
January 17, 2025: Fredericksburg, VA 22408 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA) and the visiting The New Community School Sabers (Richmond, VA), observed Fredericksburg Academy's basketball team overwhelm The New Community School by a score of 60-14.
The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA). The Badgers come into the Greater Piedmont challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Tandem Friends was routed by Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA), 55-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Sabers encounter the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. The New Community School will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 67-29 non-league win over TEACH Homeschool (Virginia Beach, VA).
