January 17, 2025: Jennings, LA 70546 Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA), 75-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 19-7 on the year. The Vikings host Carencro (Lafayette, LA) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears enter the match with a record of 10-15. Carencro lost 63-47 in their recent non-league match against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. Jennings will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-2.
