The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Liberty Minutemen to 57 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Rustburg will confront a Raiders team coming off a 66-44 league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-9. Staunton River lost 64-33 in their recent league game against Fleming (Roanoke, VA)
