Minnesota High School Basketball - Luverne bests Pipestone
January 17, 2025: Pipestone, MN 56164 The Luverne Cardinals basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Pipestone Arrows to 54 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, DeSmet topped Howard (Howard, SD), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Arrows battle the Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) in a AA Section 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Pipestone will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 88-81 non-league loss to Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN).
