In Friday's league contest, the visiting Madison Jaguars basketball team scored a big 73-44 triumph over the Mangham Dragons.

The Jaguars (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA). The Tigers go into the 2A District 2 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Oak Grove was trounced by Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA), 62-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Arcadia Hornets (Arcadia, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Mangham will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 64-28 non-league win over Summerfield (Summerfield, LA).
