Minnesota High School Basketball - Mounds Park Academy trounced by Providence Academy
January 17, 2025: St. Paul, MN 55109 Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN), 84-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Providence Academy advances its record to 2-10 on the year. The Lions travel to St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 5-8. St. Paul Academy-Summit lost 107-49 in their recent non-league match against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
The Panthers now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Life Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Mounds Park Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 62-46 non-league win over Christ's Household of Faith (St. Paul, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
