The Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) basketball edged the visiting North Ridgeville Rangers (North Ridgeville, OH), 64-61 in Friday's league bout.

The Comets now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Midview for a Southwestern bout on Tuesday, January 21. Steele will play a Middies team coming off a 73-46 league loss to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH). The Middies record now stands at 2-11.
