New Hampshire High School Basketball - Pelham sneaks past Souhegan
January 17, 2025: Amherst, NH 03031 The Pelham Pythons (Pelham, NH) basketball edged the host Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 49-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Pythons now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Merrimack Valley for a Division II bout on Thursday, January 23. Pelham will play a The Pride team coming off a 71-53 league win over ConVal (Peterborough, NH). The The Pride record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Souhegan falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Manchester West (Manchester, NH) to play the Blue Knights in a Division II bout on Friday, January 24. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Manchester West won 58-51 in their recent league bout against Stark (Weare, NH)
