The Hanover Bears ran past the visiting Pelham Pythons basketball team by a margin of 55-40 in Friday's league contest.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pembroke (Pembroke, NH). The Spartans go into the Division II contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Pembroke topped Manchester West (Manchester, NH), 73-64, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Pythons battle the Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers (Hollis, NH) in a Division II contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Pelham will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
