The Rocket City Falcons basketball squad (Huntsville, AL), was nudged 58-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Tabernacle Torches (Gardendale, AL)

With the victory, Tabernacle advances its record to 9-12 on the year. The Torches travel to Cornerstone Christian (Rainsville, AL) to meet the Eagles in a Alabama Christian - III North battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 2-7.
