Alabama High School Basketball - Russellville nips West Point
January 17, 2025: Cullman, AL 35057 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers basketball team scored a close 68-65 triumph over the West Point Warriors.
The Golden Tigers (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL). The Aggies go into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Hamilton nipped Haleyville (Haleyville, AL), 55-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. West Point will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Purple Devils go into the contest with a 1-20 record after their 76-23 non-league loss to St. Clair County (Odenville, AL).
