With the victory, Somerset advances its record to 17-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 16-10. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) now own a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearsall for a 4A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Uvalde will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 56-55 league win over Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 20-7.
