California High School Basketball - Banning victorious over Gardena

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Banning Pilots basketball team scored a good 53-42 triumph over the Gardena Panthers.

The Pilots (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against San Pedro (San Pedro, CA). The Pirates go into the Marine contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, San Pedro was topped by Carson (Carson, CA), 56-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Gardena will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 68-47 non-league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA).
