Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), 45-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Mansfield Timberview advances its record to 17-12 on the year. The Wolves host Joshua (Joshua, TX) to face the Owls in a 5A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Owls enter the match with a record of 16-14. Joshua won 59-41 in their recent league match against Burleson (Burleson, TX)

The Spartans now own a 13-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleburne for a 5A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, January 21.
