Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), 57-27 in a league match.

With the victory, Columbus advances its record to 5-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to face the Gators in a 6A Region 2 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Gators enter the match with a record of 12-8. Vicksburg won 58-44 in their recent non-league match against Provine (Jackson, MS)

The Titans now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morton for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Ridgeland will face a Panthers squad coming off a 48-47 league win over Quitman (Quitman, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 15-5.
