Arkansas High School Basketball - Conway overwhelms Link Academy
January 17, 2025: Conway, AR 72034 The Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Link Academy Lions to 46 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wampus Cats now have a 20-1 record. They play next when they host North Little Rock for a 6A Central game on Tuesday, January 21. Conway will confront a Charging Wildcats team coming off a 54-17 league win over Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Charging Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, Link Academy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hickman (Columbia, MO) to confront the Kewpies in a Freelance game on Saturday, February 1. The Kewpies go into the game with a record of 8-6.
