January 17, 2025: Hot Springs National Park, AR 71901 The Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) basketball were winner over the visiting Horatio Lions (Horatio, AR), 54-43 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 18-0 record. They play next when they travel to Foreman for a 2A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Cutter-Morning Star will play a Gator Arkansas team coming off a 46-31 league loss to Caddo Hills (Norman, AR). The Gator Arkansas record now stands at 1-15.
With the loss, Horatio falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR) to play the Rattlers in a 2A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Murfreesboro lost 56-35 in their recent league bout against Spring Hill (Hope, AR)
