Mississippi High School Basketball - Nettleton bested by East Webster
January 17, 2025: Nettleton, MS 38858 East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), 57-45 in a league match.
With the victory, East Webster advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to face the Chargers in a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 13-7. Choctaw County won 73-28 in their recent league match against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS)
The Tigers now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mooreville for a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 21. Nettleton will face a Troopers squad coming off a 58-57 non-league win over New Site (New Site, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 13-7.
