The Mooreville Troopers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Nettleton Tigers to 30 in the Troopers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Troopers now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Choctaw County for a 3A Region 4 game on Friday, January 24. Mooreville will confront a Chargers team coming off a 69-48 league win over East Webster (Maben, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Nettleton moves to 2-10 on the season. The Tigers host Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 4 contest on Thursday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 2-15. Aberdeen lost 73-28 in their recent league contest against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)
