The Howe Bulldogs basketball squad (Howe, TX), lost 52-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Leonard Tigers (Leonard, TX)

With the victory, Leonard advances its record to 18-13 on the year. The Tigers host S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX) to meet the Rams in a 3A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Rams enter the battle with a record of 1-17. S & S Consolidated lost 51-12 in their recent league battle against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pottsboro for a 3A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Howe will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 52-39 league loss to Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 25-4.
