In Friday's league contest, the visiting Morehead Panthers basketball team scored a close 52-51 win over the Reidsville Rams.

The Panthers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings come into the 2A Mid-State contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, North Forsyth edged McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 49-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Reidsville will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 56-13 league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
