California High School Basketball - Torrance bested by Palos Verdes
January 17, 2025: Torrance, CA 90501 Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA), 47-35 in a league match.
With the victory, Palos Verdes advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Sea Kings travel to Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA) to face the Dolphins in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Dolphins enter the match with a record of 8-7. Palisades lost 71-63 in their recent league match against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA)
The Tartars now own a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Segundo for a Pioneer match on Tuesday, January 21. Torrance will face a Eagles squad coming off a 62-35 non-league loss to West (Torrance, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-7.
