South Carolina High School Basketball - Sumter knocked off by Ridge View

January 17, 2025: Columbia, SC 29229

In Friday's league test, the Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), by a score of 58-42.

Next, the Blazers clash with the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Ridge View will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Stallions come into the test with a 16-0 record after their 68-34 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, SC).

The Gamecocks (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Blythewood, SC). The Redhawks come into the AAAAA Region 5 test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Westwood beat West Florence (Florence, SC), 67-25, in a league test.
