The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored 30 points and limited the host Central Cabarrus Vikings to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host East Rowan for a game on Tuesday, January 21.

With the loss, Central Cabarrus falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-5.
