Washington High School Basketball - Moses Lake triumphant over Davis
January 17, 2025: Yakima, WA 98902 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) and the host Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA), observed Moses Lake's basketball team overwhelm Davis by a score of 57-30.
The Mavericks (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Lewis & Clark crushed Ferris (Spokane, WA), 45-41, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Davis falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Sunnyside lost 37-34 in their recent non-league bout against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA)
