January 17, 2025: San Bruno, CA 94066 Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 49-33 in a league match.
With the victory, Capuchino advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Harker (San Jose, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-5. Harker lost 61-23 in their recent non-league match against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA)
The Bearcats now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. San Mateo will face a Huskies squad coming off a 64-47 non-league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-9.
