Virginia High School Basketball - Maury fells Norcom
January 17, 2025: Portsmouth, VA 23704 The Maury Commodores basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Norcom Greyhounds to 48 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Friday.
The Commodores now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Maury will confront a Mighty Bookers team coming off a 54-10 non-league loss to Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Norcom falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 2-6. Manor lost 60-51 in their recent non-league game against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA)
