California High School Basketball - Santana thwarts Valhalla
January 17, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92019 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) and the host Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA), observed Santana's basketball team knock off Valhalla by a score of 66-53.
The Sultans (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers come into the challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Grossmont prevailed over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA), 62-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Norsemen encounter the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Valhalla will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 45-43 non-league win over Crawford (San Diego, CA).
