Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutton holds off Thayer Central
January 17, 2025: Hebron, NE 68370 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Sutton Mustangs basketball team scored a close 27-26 triumph over the Thayer Central Titans.
The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Deshler (Deshler, NE). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Deshler nipped McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE), 36-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Titans confront the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Thayer Central will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
