Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), 34-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Thayer Central advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Titans host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to meet the Huskies in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Huskies enter the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Jeffs now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beatrice for a non-league battle on Monday, December 16.
